THE ELEPHANT GIVES BACK
$10,645.03 was donated this week from the sales of the 2009 Vintage The Little King Sparkling Wine to the BC Children's Hospital. This brings the total amount raised from the sale of the Little King since 2002, to in excess of $70,000.
The funds from the 2009 vintage will go specifically to fund the OutPEAK Progam at BC Children's Hospital. OutPEAK provides pediatric nurses throughout all parts of BC with access to new knowledge and skills, which in turn means better care for kids in all corners of BC.
An elephant-sized hug to all those that love and support The Little King.

PSSST ... WINE LOVES CHOCOLATE
Pssst ... wine loves chocolate

2009 Framboise, 4 ½ stars. Dark and delectable, this port-like nectar embodies the essence of intensely fresh raspberries. A hint of tartness counters the luscious richness. Try it with dark chocolate covered espresso coffee beans. (5 star rating system stresses value for price).

The Little King Sparkling Apple. Naramata Bench apples are the main ingredient in this unique sparkling wine that’s rarely available outside the winery’s tasting room. It’s worth the effort to acquire it. Pour it with the label hidden for your wine know-it-all friends and see what they say.

Stellaport 2009. This has sat on best-of-the-year lists for so long it’s become a fixture. I can’t imagine a cellar - my cellar - without it.
