Description
Stellaport is a rich port-style wine made exclusively from Stella cherries grown on the winery site. Cherries are harvested from a specific area which receives concentrated southwest exposure for the duration of the ripening season.

In crafting Stellaport, we employ the Spanish technique of ‘solera’ in which a “mother barrel” was established in 2001. Each year we release half of the barrel replacing it with the current year’s vintage. The 2009 release of Stellaport represents the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 vintages in diminishing proportion. Eight years in French Oak have resulted loads of chocolate and cherry notes from start to never-ending finish.
